Kim Stringfellow will give a lecture and play audio tour selections from There It Is—Take It! Owens Valley and the Los Angeles Aqueduct, 1913–2013 for the Owens Valley Committee’s annual fundraising event on Saturday, February, 23rd, 2013 from 5 to 8 pm. The event is being hosted by Mountain Light Gallery in Bishop, CA.

The Owens Valley Committee is a non-profit citizen action group dedicated to the protection, restoration and sustainable management of water and land resources affecting the Owens Valley. The Committee oversees compliance with and implementation of appropriate water management policy, educates the public, encourages participation in local government, and advocates an inclusive and open decision-making process.
OVC is a party to the 1997 Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) that established the goals and objectives of the Lower Owens River Project.
